"Great place for a quick coffee and light snack (they serve sandwiches too). Conveniently located inside a grocery store, you can do groceries ANDDD take some time to relax in the same place! Prices are fair and the pastries are delightful! All the staff are friendly and patient as you read through the big menu - lots of choices to be had!"

"What a gem inside the Garden Basket! I popped in for a cappuccino and it was spot on — rich, smooth, and best of all, served in an actual ceramic cup (love this… paper cups are overrated!). The pastries were delicious too, and I can’t wait to see what new goodies they introduce. The service was warm and personal, giving it that cozy small-cafe feel. Such a happy little coffee break!"

"A great new Italian inspired cafe within the Garden Basket grocery store - a must try. The coffee is smooth and the biscotti is fresh and flavourful (pictured is the cinnamon, almond biscotti). Would only ask they start some sort of customer loyalty program, at least a coffee card."

"Stopped in after doing groceries. It's convenient in that way, but a bit oddly separated from the Garden basket. I imagine they'll change that as they evolve in a few weeks. All the food was 5/5. My wife's tea was somewhat milky, so a slight knock for that. Really it's pretty nice for what it is (grocery store cafe). Ambience is good, they did a nice job decorating."

"What a nice addition to the Garden Basket grocery store! Got a sandwich on the way out and it doesnt disappoint. Sandwiches are made fresh thru-out the day. The bread is delish! I will be back to try out the cannolis and other yummy desserts. Staff are friendly and the eating area is clean. Great spot for a cafe"

"I shop at the Garden Basket regularly and almost always stop by Comella Café on the way out. The coffee is consistently great, the sandwiches are always fresh, and you don’t get that heavy “I just ate out” feeling afterwards. The desserts are excellent too. My favourite is the pistachio cannoli. It has the perfect sweet and salty balance and it’s one of those desserts you never get tired of. Highly recommend stopping by."

"Tucked away inside a charming family-owned grocer, this cafe is a total mood. As soon as you walk past the aisles, you’re hit with the scent of fresh espresso and butter. ​The bakery display is pure eye candy—it’s nearly impossible to choose just one. While the sandwiches and treats are definitely on the "splurge" side of the spectrum, the quality is there. Plus, the drinks are perfectly customizable (and reasonably priced at $3–$6). ​The 1950s-inspired seating area. It’s nostalgic, comfy, and the staff are some of the sweetest people I’ve met. They greet everyone with a genuine smile that makes you want to stay all afternoon."
